About Dr. Sanjit Kooner
Dr. Sanjit Kooner received his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) from UBC in 2005. Prior to dental school, he obtained a B.Sc. in Biology.
After graduation, Dr. Kooner started off working in the Downtown Eastside, bringing much needed dental services to underprivileged clients.
In 2009, Dr. Kooner opened Murrayville Dental Clinic and in 2016, he opened Clayton Market Dental. He has successfully been serving the people of Cloverdale and Langley ever since.
Dr. Kooner also served as a clinical instructor at UBC from 2011 to 2013. Currently, Dr. Kooner provides mentorship programs to many aspiring dentists.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kooner is an avid golfer, enjoys snowboarding, and plays ice hockey and basketball. He enjoys traveling and is a proud father of two children.
In 2024, with the addition of Georgetown Dental, he hopes to help and serve the people of Central Surrey.
Dr. Kooner firmly believes that a healthy and beautiful smile can make a world of difference for many people. It is a privilege to be able to positively impact peoples’ self-esteem and confidence. LISA
Lisa has been a part of our team since 2010 as an Office Manager. She enjoys working closely with all patients and her goal is to provide friendly and efficient service. She is always happy to answer any of your questions.
She takes pride in her role as Office Manager and feels very lucky to work alongside such a great team. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and friends and spending time outdoors.

RECHELLE
Rechelle obtained her Dental Receptionist Certificate in 2017. She also brings with her experience as a legal administrative assistant. She is a friendly native of Langley and has been part of our team since 2017. Rechelle takes pride in her ability to provide friendly, efficient service to all our patients. In her spare time, she likes to explore her artistic side and spend time with her daughter, fiancé and Pomeranian.

Tina
Tina is the newest Receptionist to join Dr. Kooner’s team. She graduated from the Dental Receptionist Program through BCIT in the Summer of 2020, and brings over 15 years of customer service experience. Tina enjoys meeting new patients, especially the small children, making sure they feel welcome, and is always happy to answer questions. When she is not at work, Tina is spending time with her family, friends, and enjoys gardening and camping.

Debbie
As a Certified Dental Assistant with many years of experience, Debbie always looks forward to learning something new every day. Although she enjoys all areas of dentistry, working with children is the most rewarding to her, that's where the "magic" happens. In her spare time, she is out and about with her dogs. Debbie and her family enjoy the outdoors especially exploring B.C.

ALLIE
Allie obtained her license in dental assisting in August of 2020. Although she officially became a CDA at the peak of the pandemic, she proved to be a natural in the dental office. Her eagerness to learn, along with her adaptability, has allowed her to continuously grow to be a better CDA every day. Outside of dentistry, there’s nothing else Allie enjoys more than exploring every cuisine BC has to offer and reaching the peak of a mountain after a challenging hike, rain or shine.

Amanda is busy raising her two beautiful boys and will be back in the office in January 2024 to brighten smiles once again!
She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2010. Amanda completed her education and training in Toronto before returning back to Vancouver. She has been working at Clayton Market Dental ever since. She has a strong focus on patient hygiene education and really enjoys seeing the results when patients return for their next hygiene visit. She takes pride in providing a calming, welcoming dental experience and is more than happy to answer any questions. At Clayton Market Dental, she is very fortunate to work with a family of dental professionals who are supportive of each other and care for their patients. On her days off, she enjoys spending time with her family, husband, and friends, playing soccer and travelling.

MONICA
Monica Poony grew up in Surrey, British Columbia. She attended the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and obtained her Diploma in 2010. Since then, Monica continues to attend continuing education courses to ensure she is a well-rounded dental hygienist. Monica’s experience has afforded her compassion and understanding of common anxiety associated with dental visits. Outside of seeing patients, Monica enjoys hiking, travelling, reading and spending time with family.

RAVKIRAN
Ravkiran attended the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene and obtained her diploma in May 2022. She has been with the Clayton Market Dental team ever since. Ravkiran is passionate about tailoring her treatments based on each patient’s needs to provide the most comfortable and practical treatment.
Outside of work, Ravkiran enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She loves going on long walks as well as trying new cuisines. She is always looking forward to her next adventure while travelling and exploring.

JULIANNE
Julianne obtained her Dental Hygiene Diploma from the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in 2014, graduating with high honours. She is passionate about dental hygiene and strives to make each and every patient comfortable during treatment while educating them to achieve optimal oral health.
Outside of work Julianne likes to garden, read, craft and spend time with her husband and daughters.

SARINA
Sarina joined the Clayton Market Dental team in 2019. She obtained her Bachelor's in Dental Science (Dental Hygiene) degree from the University of British Columbia and enjoyed all the various community opportunities that this allowed her. This included working in long-term care facilities, populations with HIV, children with autism, and new immigrants. She strives to provide evidence-based care in a calming setting. Sarina aims to ensure that she creates the most comfortable environment possible for all of her patients and believes that anyone can reach optimal gingival health with the right tools. She is appreciative of working in such a supportive environment and is excited to grow with the practice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and is looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
